Margin risk. Margin multiplies gains and losses alike. Even small moves may trigger margin calls and, unmet, forced sales at weak prices. Margin lending adds forced-liquidation risk when collateral falls.
Execution risk. Wild sessions can widen spreads, raise slippage while delaying or block fills at your price. Stop orders carry no guaranteed fill price.
Technology risk. Connectivity depends on network and third-party infrastructure. Temporary downtime may stop position changes. High availability exists, but uninterrupted service is not promised.
